Support that fits everyday life
Help around the house, without taking over.
Household tasks can take more time and energy than they used to. You may be managing a busy period, adjusting after a hospital stay, or finding certain jobs tiring. Having practical help does not mean giving up control of your home. It means choosing where another pair of hands would be useful.
We begin with the jobs that matter most to you. That might mean keeping the kitchen and bathroom comfortable, changing the bedding, working through a pile of laundry or getting a particular room back in order. The tasks, time available and your priorities are discussed so there is a clear understanding before support begins.
Tidying and decluttering are personal. Belongings often hold memories, and a system that works for one person may not work for another. Support is offered patiently and with respect for your choices. Nothing should feel rushed, and decisions about your possessions stay with you.
You may want household help on its own or alongside another kind of everyday support. For example, some time could be set aside for cleaning and some for help preparing a shopping list. We can talk through what you need and what can reasonably be included in the agreed visit.
